On Saturday, 8 August, E11EV8 launches Rio Underground, a new event series dedicated to authentic electronic music culture in Rio de Janeiro.

Created for music lovers who value intimate dancefloors, exceptional sound and carefully curated lineups, Rio Underground draws inspiration from Europe's warehouse scene while embracing the creative energy that makes Rio unique. Rather than chasing trends, the project is built around one simple idea: putting the music first.

The debut edition takes place at Amarathi, an industrial venue in the heart of downtown Rio. With its exposed brickwork, soaring arches and raw architectural character, the space provides the perfect backdrop for an immersive underground experience.

The night will feature a carefully selected lineup of artists representing the deeper side of house and techno, bringing together established names and emerging talent for a journey designed from the opening set through to the final track.

More than simply another club night, Rio Underground aims to become a meeting point for Rio's growing community of electronic music enthusiasts—people who come to discover new sounds, connect with like-minded dancers and experience music in an atmosphere where the focus remains firmly on the dancefloor.

With limited capacity, the event has been intentionally designed to maintain an intimate atmosphere and deliver the highest-quality experience for every guest.
